Evolve Acupuncture & P.T. was established in 2017 to integrate the fields of acupuncture & physical therapy with the intention of treating children and teenagers as well as adults with chronic pain & orthopedic conditions.
The mission of Evolve Acupuncture & P.T. is to provide children, teenagers & their families with the necessary treatment & lifestyle tools to help them resolve their health challenges. We specialize in evaluating & treating children with a variety of special needs including sensory processing disorders, autism, & ADD/ADHD.
Joseph Montalto, L. Ac., P.T., M.S. is a licensed healthcare professional with 25 years of combined experience in the fields of physical therapy & acupuncture. He started researching the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2010 when he began practicing qigong (pronounced chee-gung). This experiential growth process through the practice of qigong led him to pursue a Master of Science degree in acupuncture to provide patients with a more diverse, holistic approach to addressing their healthcare needs. He graduated from Touro College (Master of Science in Physical Therapy) & the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been providing patients with an integrative approach to manage their overall health and wellbeing ever since.
